MNMB (Mid-North Mutual Board) was established in 2060 B.S. by the group of Founders and Principals of more than 20 Secondary Boarding Schools of Northern Kathmandu from Sifal, Kalopul to Madikhatar and from Baluwatar, Tangal to Chabahil, Chuchhepati.

The aim of this board is to strengthen friendship between teachers and students of this locality. It focuses to conduct inter-school competition in Academic, ECA & Co-curricular activities which build up the confidence of pupils and they get the chance to show their talents in the common platform. It focuses primarily to conduct Board Exam for std. X overall the year and getting the best result in each SLC Examination after the establishment of this board and continuing to conduct the Final Exam for Std. IX as well.

It also plays an important role to build up the common understanding and transparency among the Principals and encourages to do all possible activities in and outside the board by using the common academic calendar. It is very much conscious to give the fruitful and effective training and seminar to their teachers for the different levels.
